Orbit ("we", "our", "the app") is a basketball player tracking application. This policy describes how we handle your information.

Information We Collect

• Device Identifier: We generate an anonymous device ID to sync your followed players across app sessions. This is not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID.
• Followed Players: When you follow a player, we store that preference on our servers (Supabase) so your selections persist.
• Subscription Status: If you subscribe, Apple handles all payment processing. We only receive a confirmation of your subscription tier - never your payment details.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
• We do not require account creation or login.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not use advertising SDKs or sell data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

• API-Sports: Provides basketball statistics, scores, and player data. No user data is shared with API-Sports.
• Supabase: Hosts our database and server functions. Stores anonymous device IDs and followed player preferences.
• Apple App Store: Handles in-app purchases and subscriptions.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We retain your followed player data for as long as your device ID remains active. Uninstalling the app and not reinstalling will effectively remove your association with any stored data.

Children's Privacy

Orbit does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app displays publicly available sports statistics and does not require any personal information to use.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
